Dob\u0159e se rozpou\u0161t\u00ed ve z\u0159ed\u011bn\u00e9 kyselin\u011b s\u00edrov\u00e9 a chlorovod\u00edkov\u00e9, zat\u00edmco v kyselin\u011b dusi\u010dn\u00e9 z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 nerozpustn\u00fd; d\u00edky sv\u00e9 teplot\u011b t\u00e1n\u00ed je vhodn\u00fd pro vysokoteplotn\u00ed aplikace, jako je keramika a smalty, zat\u00edmco p\u0159i v\u00fdrob\u011b kovov\u00e9ho hlin\u00edku a jako neho\u0159lav\u00e9 plnivo v polymern\u00edch kompozitech se hojn\u011b vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Odhaduje se, \u017ee celosv\u011btov\u00fd trh s trihydr\u00e1tem oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho dos\u00e1hne do roku 2019 v\u00edce ne\u017e 100 milion\u016f tun a poroste pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00fdm slo\u017een\u00fdm ro\u010dn\u00edm tempem r\u016fstu p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 7%. Je rozd\u011blen na aplikace, typy v\u00fdrobk\u016f, pr\u016fmyslov\u00e1 odv\u011btv\u00ed a koncov\u00e9 aplikace, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed pod\u00edl na trhu maj\u00ed koncov\u00e9 aplikace plast\u016f, a to d\u00edky rostouc\u00ed spot\u0159eb\u011b ve stavebnictv\u00ed, automobilov\u00e9m pr\u016fmyslu a v odv\u011btv\u00ed elektrotechniky a elektroniky - z velk\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti kv\u016fli po\u017eadavk\u016fm na sni\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed emis\u00ed uhl\u00edku, kter\u00e9 vedou k nahrazov\u00e1n\u00ed kovov\u00fdch sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed plastov\u00fdmi v automobilov\u00fdch komponentech.<\/p>\n<p>Trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho je mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b u\u017eite\u010dn\u00e1 l\u00e1tka s \u010detn\u00fdmi aplikacemi, od pigment\u016f pro inkoust a plnidlo pap\u00edru, p\u0159es adsorpci, maziva a \u017e\u00e1ruvzdorn\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly, v\u00fdrobu kovov\u00e9ho oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho a\u017e po analytick\u00e9 \u010dinidlo. Vyr\u00e1b\u00ed se rozpou\u0161t\u011bn\u00edm bauxitu v hydroxidu sodn\u00e9m Bayerov\u00fdm postupem a n\u00e1sledn\u00fdm odd\u011blen\u00edm od pevn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek zah\u0159\u00edv\u00e1n\u00edm; tento energeticky n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00fd postup v\u0161ak vyvol\u00e1v\u00e1 obavy o \u017eivotn\u00ed prost\u0159ed\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Inhala\u010dn\u00ed expozice trihydr\u00e1tu oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho byla spojena s respira\u010dn\u00edmi onemocn\u011bn\u00edmi u pracovn\u00edk\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed s n\u00edm manipulovali (Ueda et al., 1958; Edling, 1961). Po inhala\u010dn\u00ed expozici jemn\u011b mlet\u00e9mu pyrofosf\u00e1tov\u00e9mu prachu a jin\u00fdm form\u00e1m hlin\u00edku byla rovn\u011b\u017e hl\u00e1\u0161ena plicn\u00ed fibr\u00f3za (Park et al. 1996 citov\u00e1no v ATSDR 1999).<\/p>\n<p>Trihydr\u00e1t sr\u00e1\u017een\u00e9ho oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho byl v roce 2019 l\u00eddrem na trhu a tvo\u0159il v\u00edce ne\u017e 40% celosv\u011btov\u00e9ho trhu s trihydr\u00e1tem oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho. Oproti mlet\u00e9mu trihydr\u00e1tu oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho nab\u00edz\u00ed \u0159adu v\u00fdhod, v\u010detn\u011b ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed viskozity v polyesterov\u00fdch SMC aplikac\u00edch a lep\u0161\u00edch vlastnost\u00ed zpomaluj\u00edc\u00edch ho\u0159en\u00ed. Krom\u011b toho m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt po\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed vysr\u00e1\u017een\u00e9ho trihydr\u00e1tu hlinit\u00e9ho m\u00e9n\u011b n\u00e1kladn\u00e9, proto\u017ee jeho fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b absorbovan\u00e1 vlhkost se p\u0159i zah\u0159\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed odpa\u0159uje ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s rozkl\u00e1daj\u00edc\u00edmi se \u010d\u00e1sticemi trihydr\u00e1tu hlinit\u00e9ho; d\u00edky tomu je tato forma vhodn\u00e1 pro aplikace vy\u017eaduj\u00edc\u00ed rychl\u00e9 vytvrzen\u00ed se zv\u00fd\u0161enou odolnost\u00ed proti n\u00e1razu a rychlou dobou vytvrzen\u00ed.<\/p>\n<h2>Toxicita<\/h2>\n<p>Trihydr\u00e1t hlin\u00edku se pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 p\u0159i v\u00fdrob\u011b slou\u010denin hlin\u00edku, jako je kalcinovan\u00fd oxid hlinit\u00fd, polychlorid hlinit\u00fd, s\u00edran hlinit\u00fd, dusi\u010dnan hlinit\u00fd a zeolit. Krom\u011b toho slou\u017e\u00ed jako materi\u00e1l zpomaluj\u00edc\u00ed ho\u0159en\u00ed a prost\u0159edek potla\u010duj\u00edc\u00ed kou\u0159 a tak\u00e9 jako tepeln\u011b izola\u010dn\u00ed materi\u00e1l. Evropsk\u00e1 unie antimon zak\u00e1zala. Kadmium p\u0159edstavuje \u00fa\u010dinnou alternativu, kter\u00e1 nab\u00edz\u00ed vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed protipo\u017e\u00e1rn\u00ed vlastnosti a je kompatibiln\u00ed s mnoha organick\u00fdmi rozpou\u0161t\u011bdly. ATH lze snadno p\u0159id\u00e1vat do polyuretanov\u00fdch, latexov\u00fdch a neoprenov\u00fdch p\u011bnov\u00fdch syst\u00e9m\u016f, vinylov\u00fdch obklad\u016f st\u011bn a podlahov\u00fdch krytin a pry\u017eov\u00fdch izolac\u00ed vodi\u010d\u016f a kabel\u016f jako b\u00edl\u00fd pr\u00e1\u0161ek s vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed tepelnou vodivost\u00ed a schopnost\u00ed potla\u010dovat plameny. Rozpustn\u00fd ve vod\u011b, alkoholu a ropn\u00fdch produktech; lze sm\u00fdt m\u00fddlovou vodou nebo kysel\u00fdmi roztoky; velmi stabiln\u00ed p\u0159i vysok\u00fdch teplot\u00e1ch a odoln\u00fd proti od\u011bru.<\/p>\n<p>Rozemlet\u00fd hlin\u00edk se m\u016f\u017ee vylu\u010dovat mo\u010d\u00ed, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e se absorbuje m\u00e9n\u011b ne\u017e 10% (Gorsky et al. 1979), v\u011bt\u0161ina je zpracov\u00e1na jatern\u00edm metabolismem a vylou\u010dena jatern\u00ed sekrec\u00ed (Kaehny et al. 1977). Naproti tomu trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho se rychle vst\u0159eb\u00e1v\u00e1 ze st\u0159eva do mo\u010di prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm rychl\u00e9 absorpce ze zdroje (Lansdown 1973 citovan\u00fd ATSDR 1999), p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e doch\u00e1z\u00ed pouze k minim\u00e1ln\u00ed syst\u00e9mov\u00e9 absorpci (ATSDR 1999). Biologick\u00e1 dostupnost z\u00e1vis\u00ed jak na form\u011b pod\u00e1n\u00ed, tak na p\u0159\u00edtomnosti komplexotvorn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek, jako je citr\u00e1t v\u00e1penat\u00fd, kter\u00fd zvy\u0161uje absorpci tvorbou komplexu (nap\u0159.). Citr\u00e1t v\u00e1penat\u00fd m\u016f\u017ee zvy\u0161ovat absorpci vytv\u00e1\u0159en\u00edm vst\u0159ebateln\u00fdch komplex\u016f, kter\u00e9 v\u00fdrazn\u011b zvy\u0161uj\u00ed rychlost absorpce, a t\u00edm v\u00fdrazn\u011b zvy\u0161uj\u00ed biologickou dostupnost; citr\u00e1t v\u00e1penat\u00fd pod\u00e1van\u00fd v potrav\u011b zvy\u0161uje absorpci prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm tvorby komplex\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>A\u010dkoli jsou k dispozici \u00fadaje o chronick\u00e9 karcinogenit\u011b jin\u00fdch slou\u010denin hlin\u00edku, neposkytuj\u00ed dostate\u010dn\u00e9 \u00fadaje pro posouzen\u00ed expozice \u010dlov\u011bka derm\u00e1ln\u00ed nebo inhala\u010dn\u00ed expozici trihydr\u00e1tu hlin\u00edku. Proto byl zvolen index nebezpe\u010dnosti or\u00e1ln\u00ed cestou v hodnot\u011b jedna.<\/p>\n<p>\u010clenov\u00e9 podv\u00fdboru ur\u010dili, \u017ee trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b nep\u0159edstavuje v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 riziko, kter\u00e9 by nebylo spojeno s rakovinou, cestou derm\u00e1ln\u00ed expozice, a to na z\u00e1klad\u011b jeho propustnosti pro vodu, nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed o\u010dek\u00e1van\u00e9 aplika\u010dn\u00ed d\u00e1vky 7,5 mg\/cm2, rovnice 1 z kapitoly 3 a hodnot RfD pro derm\u00e1ln\u00ed expozici stanoven\u00fdch v kapitole 3. Na z\u00e1klad\u011b toho dosp\u011bli k z\u00e1v\u011bru 1,5 mg\/kg\/den.<\/p>\n<h2>Biologick\u00e1 dostupnost<\/h2>\n<p>Trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho (Al3O4) je inertn\u00ed b\u00edl\u00fd pr\u00e1\u0161ek nebo granule s vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed tepelnou stabilitou a n\u00edzk\u00fdm obsahem vody, d\u00edky \u010demu\u017e je vhodn\u00fd pro pou\u017eit\u00ed jako adhezivn\u00ed materi\u00e1l v r\u016fzn\u00fdch pr\u016fmyslov\u00fdch odv\u011btv\u00edch. Azbest lze pou\u017e\u00edt jako zpomalova\u010d ho\u0159en\u00ed, tlumi\u010d ohn\u011b a kou\u0159e v plastech, gum\u011b, textilu, izolaci vodi\u010d\u016f a kabel\u016f, vinylov\u00fdch obkladech st\u011bn a podlah a epoxidov\u00fdch syst\u00e9mech; krom\u011b toho m\u016f\u017ee slou\u017eit tak\u00e9 jako b\u011blic\u00ed \u010dinidlo v pap\u00edrensk\u00e9m pr\u016fmyslu. V\u00fdroba materi\u00e1lu zpomaluj\u00edc\u00edho ho\u0159en\u00ed a potla\u010duj\u00edc\u00edho kou\u0159 prob\u00edh\u00e1 Bayerov\u00fdm procesem rozkladu bauxitu, p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e se odstra\u0148uje konstitu\u010dn\u00ed voda o teplot\u011b nad 180 \u00b0C, kter\u00e1 ochlazuje jeho povrch a blokuje vstup kysl\u00edku, \u010d\u00edm\u017e tento materi\u00e1l z\u00edsk\u00e1v\u00e1 sv\u00e9 vlastnosti zpomaluj\u00edc\u00ed ho\u0159en\u00ed a potla\u010duj\u00edc\u00ed kou\u0159. Materi\u00e1ly zpomaluj\u00edc\u00ed ho\u0159en\u00ed lze pou\u017e\u00edt m\u00edsto antimonu pro vinyl jako n\u00edzko kou\u0159ovou netoxickou n\u00e1hradu a tak\u00e9 jako z\u00e1kladn\u00ed surovinu ve v\u00fdrobc\u00edch, jako jsou syst\u00e9my polyuretanov\u00e9 p\u011bny, kabelov\u00e9 izolace a termoplasty.<\/p>\n<p>T\u0159\u00eddy trihydr\u00e1tu oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho odoln\u00e9 proti ot\u011bru se \u0161iroce pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed jako plniva a roz\u0161i\u0159uj\u00edc\u00ed l\u00e1tky v n\u00e1t\u011brov\u00fdch hmot\u00e1ch, lepidlech, tmelu a plastech pro zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed pevnosti, trvanlivosti a vzhledu. Trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho je tak\u00e9 ned\u00edlnou sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed pevn\u00fdch povrchov\u00fdch materi\u00e1l\u016f pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00fdch v desk\u00e1ch a koupelnov\u00fdch za\u0159\u00edzen\u00edch; jeho \u010distota a podm\u00ednky sr\u00e1\u017een\u00ed ur\u010duj\u00ed jeho morfologii - blokov\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1stice s ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed viskozitou mohou ustoupit ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed viskozit\u011b, zat\u00edmco deskovit\u00e1 zrna viskozitu zvy\u0161uj\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Vdechov\u00e1n\u00ed a po\u017eit\u00ed trihydr\u00e1tu hlinit\u00e9ho m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt \u0161kodliv\u00e9 \u00fa\u010dinky na zdrav\u00ed. Agentura pro registraci toxick\u00fdch l\u00e1tek a nemoc\u00ed (Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry) stanovila ve sv\u00e9 anal\u00fdze minim\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00farovn\u011b rizika pro st\u0159edn\u011b dlouhou dobu trv\u00e1n\u00ed peror\u00e1ln\u00ed minim\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00farove\u0148 rizika (MRL) ve v\u00fd\u0161i 2,0 mg hlin\u00edku\/kg denn\u011b; d\u00e1le stanovila minim\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00farove\u0148 rizika pro pl\u00edce (LMRL) ve v\u00fd\u0161i 15 mg\/m3 hlin\u00edkov\u00e9ho prachu jako prahovou hodnotu kombinace MRL\/LMRL.<\/p>\n<p>Zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e1 spot\u0159eba plast\u016f v automobilov\u00e9m a stavebn\u00edm pr\u016fmyslu podporuje r\u016fst glob\u00e1ln\u00edho trhu s trihydr\u00e1tem oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho. P\u0159edpisy zam\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 na sn\u00ed\u017een\u00ed hmotnosti vozidel za \u00fa\u010delem zlep\u0161en\u00ed palivov\u00e9 \u00fa\u010dinnosti a emis\u00ed uhl\u00edku d\u00e1le podpo\u0159ily pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed plast\u016f jako alternativn\u00edho materi\u00e1lu ke kovu.<\/p>\n<p>Trh lze rozd\u011blit podle kone\u010dn\u00e9ho pou\u017eit\u00ed na plasty, stavebnictv\u00ed, barvy a n\u00e1t\u011bry a ostatn\u00ed aplikace. Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed pod\u00edl na tomto trhu maj\u00ed v sou\u010dasn\u00e9 dob\u011b plasty, n\u00e1sledovan\u00e9 segmenty stavebnictv\u00ed a n\u00e1t\u011brov\u00e9 hmoty. O\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1 se, \u017ee plasty zaznamenaj\u00ed nejrychlej\u0161\u00ed r\u016fst d\u00edky rostouc\u00edmu pov\u011bdom\u00ed spot\u0159ebitel\u016f a p\u0159edpis\u016fm, kter\u00e9 na\u0159izuj\u00ed sni\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed hmotnosti karoseri\u00ed automobil\u016f.<\/p>\n<h2>Bezpe\u010dnost<\/h2>\n<p>Ro\u010dn\u00ed v\u00fdroba trihydr\u00e1tu oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho (ATH) se pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b jako zpomalova\u010d ho\u0159en\u00ed. Po zabudov\u00e1n\u00ed do molekul polymer\u016f vytv\u00e1\u0159\u00ed ATH chemickou bari\u00e9ru, kter\u00e1 zpomaluje \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed po\u017e\u00e1ru t\u00edm, \u017ee uvol\u0148uje vodn\u00ed p\u00e1ru, kter\u00e1 se z\u0159ed\u00ed do atmosf\u00e9ry a pom\u00e1h\u00e1 omezit ho\u0159en\u00ed a zastavit jeho \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed. Krom\u011b toho je tato l\u00e1tka \u010dasto sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed kau\u010duk\u016f, aby se zlep\u0161ily fyzik\u00e1ln\u00ed vlastnosti.<\/p>\n<p>Trihydr\u00e1t hlin\u00edku se nemus\u00ed v t\u011ble vst\u0159eb\u00e1vat tak snadno vzhledem k omezen\u00fdm \u00fadaj\u016fm o rozpustnosti; tyto informace v\u0161ak nelze extrapolovat kvantitativn\u011b na biologickou dostupnost, proto\u017ee mohou existovat nezn\u00e1m\u00e9 vlivy, jako je strava, kter\u00e9 ovliv\u0148uj\u00ed absorpci.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159i vnit\u0159n\u00edm u\u017eit\u00ed se trihydr\u00e1t hlin\u00edku (ATH) vylu\u010duje stolic\u00ed, ani\u017e by se syst\u00e9mov\u011b vst\u0159eb\u00e1val. A\u010dkoli p\u0159i vdechov\u00e1n\u00ed ve form\u011b jemn\u00fdch prachov\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1stic nen\u00ed dr\u00e1\u017ediv\u00fd, dlouhodob\u00e1 expozice m\u016f\u017ee zp\u016fsobit podr\u00e1\u017ed\u011bn\u00ed d\u00fdchac\u00edch cest a je t\u0159eba se j\u00ed vyhnout, aby nedo\u0161lo k nep\u0159\u00edzniv\u00fdm zdravotn\u00edm n\u00e1sledk\u016fm.<\/p>\n<p>Vzhledem k n\u00edzk\u00e9 toxicit\u011b nep\u0159edstavuje trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 nebezpe\u010d\u00ed pro \u017eivotn\u00ed prost\u0159ed\u00ed. Nezne\u010di\u0161\u0165uje sice p\u016fdu ani vodn\u00ed zdroje, ale p\u0159i nespr\u00e1vn\u00e9m postupu manipulace a likvidace se m\u016f\u017ee uvol\u0148ovat nadm\u011brn\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed prachov\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1stic, kter\u00e9 mohou dr\u00e1\u017edit o\u010di, nos a krk.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00edky sv\u00e9 tepeln\u00e9 stabilit\u011b je trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho vhodn\u00fd pro aplikace, kter\u00e9 vy\u017eaduj\u00ed vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed teploty, v\u010detn\u011b pou\u017eit\u00ed jako antacidum k vyrovn\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed pH \u017ealude\u010dn\u00edho obsahu. V\u00fdroba prob\u00edh\u00e1 Bayerov\u00fdm procesem, p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e se bauxit rozpou\u0161t\u00ed v hydroxidu sodn\u00e9m za zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00fdch teplot.<\/p>\n<p>Agentura pro registraci toxick\u00fdch l\u00e1tek a nemoc\u00ed stanovila pro trihydr\u00e1t oxidu hlinit\u00e9ho peror\u00e1ln\u00ed referen\u010dn\u00ed d\u00e1vku (RfD) 1,5 mg hlin\u00edku\/kg denn\u011b. Tato RfD byla vypo\u010dtena za p\u0159edpokladu, \u017ee d\u00edt\u011b je vystaveno trihydr\u00e1tu hlinit\u00e9ho s\u00e1n\u00edm 50 cm2 l\u00e1tky j\u00edm pota\u017een\u00e9 po dobu dvou let a jedn\u00e9 hodiny denn\u011b, po dobu dvou let a jedn\u00e9 hodiny\/den.
